KEVIN
and
JOYCE sat stunned as they watched scenes of
devastation flash on their TV screen December 26,
2004. Within a month,
Kevin was on his way to one of the hardest hit tsunami regions in
Southeast Asia. In the beginning, Kevin worked alongside coworkers,
volunteers, and national believers to remove bodies, build temporary
shelters, provide clean water and sanitation, and deliver food to the
hungry. Two months later, Kevin and Joyce decided to move their family
to the tsunami zone to run a volunteer house and to help rebuild lives.
Our love for people and commitment to the Cooperative program has made
the rebuilding of homes, businesses, and schools possible. Kevin and
Joyce are seeing people come to faith who would never have known the
truth, had it not been for the tsunami. Take a moment and give thanks
to God for what He is doing to these tsunami-affected areas |
